ExtraBiller is designed to support your HIPAA compliance: claim files are parsed entirely in your browser and are never uploaded to our servers. You remain responsible for exported files, device security, and access controls on shared workstations.

Business Associate Agreements

Based on our client-side architecture — claim files are parsed in your browser and never uploaded to our servers — we do not believe ExtraBiller meets HIPAA's definition of a business associate, so a BAA is not part of our standard offering. Your compliance officer should make the final determination; architecture documentation is available on request.
